SUU Commencement 2021
We are beyond excited to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2021 with in-person commencement ceremonies on Friday and Saturday, April 30-May 1. Click the link below to identify which day a specific college will hold graduation ceremonies.
Mask Up with Pride
Since we are all wearing masks to do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19, we thought you might like to add some Thunderbird Pride to your mask collection. These SUU masks come in three colors (red, black and gray), and they are adjustable, washable, and extremely comfortable to wear.
A Message From Your National Alumni President
The pandemic has added many new vocabulary words to our vernacular -- including these three little words that have become universal for all of us navigating the virtual world: YOU’RE ON MUTE. It’s a symbolic phrase whether referring to the latest zoom faux paus or how we have had to downplay by learning to exist in smaller groups, putting the big vacations on hold, and debating how much to live and how much to mute.
As we head into the final weeks of the school year towards graduation, it is definitely time to unmute. Turn those mics up to full volume to shout your educational accomplishments to the world that SUU has prepared you to take on and re-shape. Graduation is a milestone that can not be done in black-and-white, it is a brilliant, technicolor event. And at Southern Utah we do graduation in red, the single most dynamic color. Red dictates that you graduate with passion, energy, boldness, strength, confidence, and drama. None of which can be accomplished on mute.
It’s time, be loud.
