Arts Festival at The Beverley

Join us for the inaugural Arts Festival at the Beverley Center on Saturday, April 9, 2022. The free event is open to the public and will celebrate the vibrant cultural and festive atmosphere on Southern Utah University’s campus and in Cedar City!

The event brings together literary, performing, and visual arts, featuring a collaboration between Larry Keigwin, of the dance group Keigwin + Company, and visual artist Jason Hackenwerth. The two have worked together on projects for Green Box Arts Festival in Colorado and the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. While Larry oversees the choreography of the performance, Jason creates wearable art.

The Arts Festival will include poetry readings by Kolob Canyon Review, a literary and art magazine of Southern Utah University's students, faculty, staff, and alumni. There will also be a variety of entertainment and activities throughout the event, including local artists and vendors offering attendees a great opportunity to buy original art and support local artists!
