Easy Pizza Recipe You Can Make at Home

Pasta is part of a well-balanced diet. One of the best health benefits of pasta is sustained energy. Pasta provides glucose, the crucial fuel for your brain and muscles. It also contains many complex carbs which provide a slow release of energy. It’s a perfect food for active and studious students.

Estimated cost: $6.15 ($9.84 with cheese)
Prep time: 35 minutes
Estimated calories per person: 361 (423 with cheese)
Servings: 6
Ingredients:
  • 12 oz. Penne Rigate Pasta
  • 3 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 package of sliced pepperoni
  • 1 cup grated Mozzarella (optional)

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cook Penne Rigate Pasta according to package directions.
  • Stir cooked pasta and spaghetti sauce together until well mixed.
  • Place in a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • Top with pepperoni and cheese.
  • Bake for 25 minutes
