HSS Dean’s Fund for Excellence
Gifts to the Dean's Excellence Fund immediately enhance the educational experience for our students by strengthening the College of Humanities and Social Science's programs, faculty, and facilities. These gifts are among the most important and valuable forms of support to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences because they can be accessed quickly and used where the need is greatest. Gifts to the Dean's Excellence Fund provide some of the following:
- Competitive scholarships for promising undergraduate and graduate students
- Support for the Dean’s strategic initiatives
- Student study abroad and internship opportunities
Psychology Chair's Fund
This new program is the only one of it’s kind in Utah and will begin next fall. Additionally, this program is designed to help provide education regarding working with rural and underserved populations.
Patricia Keehley MPA Endowed Scholarship
Dr. Keehley, Associate Professor, Emerita, and public service professional served as the inaugural Director of the MPA program as it welcomed its first students in 2008. This scholarship supports students as they become fully armed with academic training and critical competencies in pursuit of their contribution to society.
Communication Department Chair’s Fund
This fund supports opportunities for our students to create high-level media content and develop high-quality journalism skills. Many of our advances require new equipment, new space, and travel opportunities to help students achieve their potential.
