Utah Summer Games 40 for 40

Dear friends,
Discussing the ‘Utah Summer Games’ elicits so many wonderful memories. It was 40 years ago this grand community experiment started, with visionary minds giving birth to a sports movement that immediately captured the heart and soul of Cedar City, Southern Utah University, and the State of Utah. It’s a beautiful story to reflect on.
One of the defining legacies of the Games has been the support they have received from so many different sources, in so many ways. As we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games in 2026, we are looking forward to a future of continued impact, bold visioning, and strategic alignment for the benefit of our constituents. That is why we are launching the ’40 for 40’ campaign – a micro-giving campaign to help support the celebration of our proud past and help provide resources for our program to continue its profound impact.
All individuals who give to the ’40 for 40’ campaign will receive a commemorative pin celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Games, in addition to receiving a tax-deduction for the gift. We are hopeful to see many friends and supporters wearing the pins this summer and beyond.
Indeed, 40 years of impact is something worthy of celebration, and we’re grateful for the role you have played in our proud story. We’re even more grateful you’re investing in our bright future.
With gratitude,
Jon Oglesby
