Welcome to the Garth and Jerri Frehner Museum of Natural History

The Frehner Museum of Natural History, located at Southern Utah University, is dedicated to researching and collecting natural science, and providing interactive exhibits that illuminate humanity's interconnectedness with the natural world.

The Museum is free and open to the public.

Hours of Operation

We are open Tuesday - Thursday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm 

Tours are available by advance appointment. Please contact us if you would like to schedule a tour.

We observe SUU's campus closure dates.

We are located on the first floor of the Science Addition Building (SCA) on the southeast corner of SUU's campus. Please note that the museum has a separate outdoor entrance on the west side of the SCA that is ADA accessible.


We recommend those visiting the museum park in the open parking lot located at the corner of University Blvd and 300 W.
