As part of International Week at Southern Utah University, the Korean American Dance Group, a recipient of the Utah Governor’s Cultural Heritage Award, will demonstrate fan dance, drum dance, scarf dance and other energetic numbers during the November 4 Convocations presentation “Brighten the Light.”

Led by Ms. Jung-Hee Kim Lovejoy, this dance group established in 1990 is regarded as one of the best ethnic performance groups in the state. The colorful costumes, graceful movements, and harmonious music of this dance group provide audiences with new experiences of beauty and wonder from Korea, the Land of Morning Calm.

Unless otherwise noted, Convocations take place on Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. in the Auditorium. They are free and open to the public. Anyone interested in taking Convocations for college credit should call 586-8082. For more information see www.suu.edu/ad/pr/convo.

And, for more information on International Week, going on now, call 586-7772.
