Speech In High Demand, Now On SUU Website

The transcript of the much-in-demand speech given by Renee West Norton at last May’s Commencement at Southern Utah University, is now online within the University’s website.

Norton wowed an audience of some 4,000 graduates, faculty, staff, parents, family and friends of graduates last May 7th with her keynote address on the definitions of success and leadership.

“Since that spring Saturday,” Dean O’Driscoll, Commencement Director, reports, “we have had numerous requests by phone and email for copies of Norton’s speech. For unforeseen hurdles, we haven’t been able to post it online until now.

“However, the nuggets of wisdom Norton offered to our graduates that day are timeless, so we hope many will go to our website to remind themselves of her inspiring insights.”

Norton’s speech, in its entirety, can be viewed at www.suu.edu/graduation/. Now the president of Excalibur Hotel-Casino Resort in Las Vegas, her bio and photo are also available on the SUU website.
