Southern Utah University’s Department of Art and Design presents a Curriculum Show featuring SUU Art and Design student work November 28-December 2 in the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery. The exhibit will feature a variety of art forms from students’ current and previous semesters, including drawing, ceramics, photography, oil painting and graphic design.

This short-run exhibit will also be open as a part of the Department of Art and Design’s “Show Off V” on November 30th from 7 to 8:30 pm in the Sharwan Smith Conference Center Lobby. For one night only, the “Show Off” displays the best of the semester work by art and design students. A party atmosphere, refreshments, and some very good buys on student work make for a fun evening.

Terral Fox, graphic design student, states, “The Show Off is a good way to see what other students are doing creatively. It is also a good opportunity to get feedback on my own work.”

Art Insights is a weekly program hosted during the Fall and Spring semesters by the Department Art and Design. Art Insights brings professionals from many different fields of the visual art world to Cedar City and includes exhibitions, such as these two student shows. Admission is free, and the general public is invited to attend.

The Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery is open Tuesday-Saturday, Noon-7:00pm. The gallery is located on the ground floor in the Braithwaite Liberal Arts Center building on the east end of the beautiful SUU campus. Free Admission.
