Originally, SUU hosted cardboard drives on a trial basis to gauge community interest in increased recycling efforts in Southern Utah. However, the drives continue to succeed, and the campus now holds cardboard recycling drives every month. This free service will continue as long as the community continues using it.
Residents are asked to only bring their cardboard between the hours of the drive, and to ensure all cardboard is broken down in advance if possible. This will help keep the parking lot clean, and will ensure this service can continue.
