SUU to Host MarketStar CEO at Speaker Series

SUU’s School of Business continues this year’s Wells Fargo Business Executive Speaker Series on Wednesday, November 19, at 9 a.m. in the Starlight Room of SUU’s Sharwan Smith Student Center. This event is free and open to the public. The event's featured executive, Alan E. Hall, is the founder of Ogden-based MarketStar, Salt Lake City-based Mercato Partners and Kaysville-based Grow Utah Ventures and is widely considered one of the most influential business people in the state of Utah.

An inspirational, successful entrepreneur, investor and business evangelist, Hall is a perennial top-10 "influential business people in Utah" fixture according to Business Connect Magazine. Hall returns to Utah this week as the regional director for Global Entrepreneurship Week.

At SUU, Hall will address his own success, long-locked after the 1999 sale of MarketStar to the largest advertising company in the world. The presentation, "Grow America," will reflect on Hall's dedication to hard work, his aggressive promotion for entrepreneurial growth throughout Utah and his drive to expand these insights nation-wide.
