Leavitt Group CEO to talk Crisis Managment

SUU's School of Business will continue this year's Wells Fargo Business Executive Speaker Series with a presentation by Dane Leavitt, chairman and CEO of Leavitt Group Enterprises, on Thursday, November 12, at 11:30 a.m. in the Sharwan Smith Center Theater. 

This presentation, where Leavitt will address a number of business topics in a presentation focused on crisis management, is free and open to the public. 

Dane Leavitt has served in his current position as chairman and CEO of Leavitt Group Enterprises since 1992. Prior to this position, he served as the Leavitt Group's General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer. 

Leavitt graduated with honors from Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1983. His undergraduate education at BYU led him to studies in political science, accounting, and English. 

Leavitt's previous capacities included Counsel to the Utah Insurance Law Division Commission and Special Counsel to the Utah Office of Legislative Counsel, where he aided in the completion of a comprehensive revision of Utah's Insurance Code in 1985 and 1986.
