Ethics on the Docket at Business Speaker Series

SUU's School of Business will continue the Wells Fargo Business Executive Speaker Series with a presentation on business ethics from Laura O. Houston, on Thursday, January 21, at 11:30 a.m. in the Sharwan Smith Theater. Houston has over 30 years of financial services experience and currently serves as Managing Director for Strategic Business Segments at Wells Fargo Bank.

In her presentation "Ethics Still Matter," Ms. Houston will discuss business ethics and the effects of using ethics when making business decisions. Through her many executive positions and philanthropic work, Ms. Houston has experienced the need for ethics in the business world and offers an important perspective to students on the importance of ethical practice in everyday business.

Houston is a graduate of Boise State University and prior to joining Wells Fargo, she was a senior vice president with US Bank for the Private Client Group. She also served as Managing Director for Institutional Services for a 12 -state territory with Key Bank/Victory Capital Management.
