Ceramics Guild Makes Valentine’s Day Gifting a Breeze

Valentine's Day looms, are you still searching for that unique memento to give the special person in your life?
Shop for them at the SUU Ceramics Guild’s Annual Valentine’s Sale and stop perpetuating the cliché of flowers and chocolates, this Wednesday through Friday, in the Living Room of the Sharwan Smith Student Center. The sale, which runs from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, is open to the general public.
Give your sweetheart a beautiful keepsake that can only be found at the SUU Ceramics Guild Valentine’s Sale, each piece handcrafted by the group’s talented members. A diverse array of functional and decorative gift items and tableware will be available, including teapots, platters, lidded containers, bowls and mugs.
All items are finished with food-safe glazes that do not contain lead. So whether your special person is a foodie or just wants to snuggle up with a cup of hot chocolate, you are sure to find something they will love.
The Ceramics Guild accepts cash and most major credit cards. All of the proceeds from the event go toward sending Guild members to the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts annual conference held in Rhode Island, hosted by the Rhode Island School of Design.
