Art Insights, hosted by SUU’s Department of Art & Design, will once again open its studios to the community and SUU’s faculty, students and alumni on Thursday, October 6, 2016. Open Studio Night is a free event that provides an evening of arts through studio visits, lectures, exhibits, and socializing.
The focus of this year’s Open Studio Night is embodied in the event slogan, "Find your place. Find your space." All Freshmen Art students, undeclared SUU students and incoming freshman are invited to come meet the professors, see the studios, and find your place as part of the SUU creative community.
Learn more about the programs offered by the Department of Art & Design and discover how SUU students are becoming artists, creative directors and leaders in the creative industry. The evening will be capped with an alumni artist lecture by Ari Seidenstricker, a Senior Art Director from Minneapolis, MN. There will be food, door prizes and double Art Insights credit for the evening.
