All sales events hosted by the SUU Ceramic Guild fund educational opportunities for its members and allow visiting artists to come to SUU to teach new techniques. The Valentine’s Day sale will help send ten students to the annual National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) conference. This year’s conference will be held in Portland, Oregon on March 22 to 25. The NCECA conference provides the students with enriching educational experiences and networking opportunities with graduate schools and other artists from around the country.
