Gymnastics Rank Number 9 Nationally Following First Meet

Following their first meet of the season the Thunderbird gymnastics team rocketed up the National polls, and are now ranked ninth in the entire country.
SUU's 196.150 against the Cardinal of Stanford placed them ninth, one spot ahead of Michigan who they will take on later this season.
At this point of the NCAA gymnastics season the rankings are done solely based on average score, leaving the Thunderbirds ninth in the country.
Next up for the Thunderbirds will be a trip to NC State on Friday, in a meet that is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
