Best Choice Schools Ranks Online MAcc Program Top in Nation

Southern Utah University’s Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program has been named one of the top programs for an online accounting master’s degree. The ranking consisted of the twenty best schools for an online master’s of accounting degree, as chosen by Best Choice Schools.
The ranking was created using information from the National Center for Education Statistics’ College Navigator database. Factors taken into account to determine rank included student to faculty ratio, net cost, admission selectivity, and graduation rate.
Interim Associate Dean for the School of Business, Mary Pearson, knows how impactful rankings can be on the program.
“Positive rankings provide recognition and reward for delivery of quality education to students all over the world,” said Pearson. “The School of Business is appreciative of the high ranking received from Best Choice Schools.”
SUU’s MAcc program was ranked #12 due to its “affordability, low student to faculty ratio, and relatively high graduation rate.” The program was also boosted by the top fifty ranking of online graduate business programs from the U.S. News and World Report.
