Jordan YoungbergThe College of Performing and Visual Arts and the Department of Art and Design are excited to welcome artist Jordan Youngberg to present on his work Thursday, April 4, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the SUU Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.

Jeffrey Hanson, Department Chair of Art and Design, said, “Jordan Youngberg is an alumni of the SUU Graphic Design program. His work in school ranged from the quirky to the artfully inspired. He is someone who is able to come at a design problem with innovation and inventiveness. He has a unique perspective that he’s put to work as Art Director for Even Steven’s sandwiches since his graduation.”

Jordan Youngberg is a designer and art director based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. His work explores the spaces between graphic design, photography, and print, with attention to the imprints these processes leave behind. His subject often emphasizes typography and color, and dangles somewhere between humor and the absurd.

Youngberg said, “I’m excited to come back to visit SUU, see what’s changed, and share what I’ve personally learned in the last few years working as a designer and an art director”.

The College of Performing and Visual Arts is proud to have this successful alumnus talk about his experiences since graduating to the community and to budding artist now studying at SUU.
