SUU Invites Local Employers to Semi-Annual Job Fair

Southern Utah University’s Career and Professional Development Center invites all Cedar City and surrounding area employers to attend the upcoming Local Job Fair. The event is scheduled to take place on SUU’s campus in the Sharwan Smith Student Center Ballroom on September 7, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We have so many incredible students looking for job opportunities in the community,” said McKinley Hatch, events and marketing coordinator in the Career Center. “We invite the community to support SUU by recruiting our hard-working students. We know they will add value and be an asset to your team.”
For those interested in recruiting student workers, registration is open on Handshake, an online recruiting platform for higher education students and alumni, and closes on August 24, 2022 at 5 p.m.
“At past Local Job Fairs, we have had several students walk away with either an interview scheduled or a job offer,” Assistant Director of Employer Relations, Jerry Ross said. “Our fair is the perfect opportunity for students and employers to connect and network.”
Southern Utah University’s Career and Professional Development Center strives to provide students opportunities to enhance their career, increase their networking abilities, and give them the financial resources they need to succeed in college.
