PBS Utah and SUU Filmmaking Host MASTERPIECE Pre-Screening

Cedar City All Creatures Great & Small Season 6 Advanced Screening.Southern Utah University’s Filmmaking Program and PBS Utah invite the community to a special pre-screening of All Creatures Great & Small Season 6 on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in Bristlecone Hall, Room 105. This free event offers fans an early glimpse of the beloved MASTERPIECE series before its national broadcast, premiering Sunday, January 11, 2026, on PBS. Seating is limited, and an RSVP is encouraged. Guests may reserve up to four seats by contacting Laura Durham at ldurham@pbsutah.org.

Based on the internationally celebrated books by James Herriot, All Creatures Great & Small follows the adventures of a young veterinarian in the 1930s Yorkshire Dales. The acclaimed adaptation stars Nicholas Ralph as James Herriot, whose humor, compassion, and zest for life have captivated viewers worldwide. With its heartwarming storytelling, stunning landscapes, and richly drawn characters, the series continues to resonate across generations.

“The remake has had massive Wellington boots to fill in the wake of the original [1970s series]...and it continues to do so beautifully,” praises The Times (UK).

In addition to Ralph’s celebrated performance, the ensemble cast features Samuel West as Siegfried Farnon (Mr. Selfridge, Howards End), Callum Woodhouse as Tristan Farnon (The Durrells of Corfu), Anna Madeley as Mrs. Hall (Mr. Selfridge, Patrick Melrose), Rachel Shenton as Helen Alderson (White Gold), and Patricia Hodge as Mrs. Pumphrey (Roadkill, Downton Abbey).
