The 2025 SUU Summer Scholarship helps online students finish their degrees faster by taking summer classes. This one-time scholarship is for both full-time and part-time students. Students taking 9 or more credits will get first priority. The goal is to make summer classes more affordable. This helps students stay on track or get ahead in their programs. SUU’s online courses are flexible and easy to access from anywhere. This makes it easier to keep moving forward toward graduation. Students can save money while earning credits that count toward their degree. Summer classes also help reduce the stress of busy fall and spring semesters. With more support, students can graduate on time and with less debt.

Scholarship Requirements

This scholarship is for online undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Accept the scholarship award by May 1, 2025. Instructions are included with your award letter. If you don’t accept, your scholarship will be canceled and given to another student.
  • By May 1, 2025, enroll in the number of credits you committed to on your scholarship application. If you take fewer credits, you will lose the scholarship.
  • Taking more credits than you committed to does not guarantee more money. If you want to request an award increase, you must email suuscholarships@suu.edu. Increases are not automatic. 
  • Non-resident, on-campus, and international students are not eligible for this scholarship.
  • Students in the Speedway and Accelerated Programs are not eligible for this scholarship.
