
SUU Peace Corps Prep Program
The SUU Peace Corps Prep program provides SUU undergraduates the skills, knowledge, and experience they will need to serve in the Peace Corps after graduation. Upon completion of the program, students earn a certificate demonstrating that they possess four core competencies critical for Peace Corps Volunteer work:
- Training and experience in a specific work sector
- Intercultural competence
- Professional and leadership development
- Foreign language skills
How to Apply
To be admitted to the program, students must follow three steps:
- Choose to focus on one of the six Peace Corps work sectors:
- Agriculture
- Community Economic Development
- Education
- Environment
- Health
- Youth in Development
- Meet with the SUU Peace Corps Prep Coordinator
- Complete an SUU Peace Corps Prep Student Application
