Red Riot
Red Riot is a great way for any high school students to experience Southern Utah University as they spend the day with fellow future T-Birds and current SUU students.
What Happens at Red Riot?
Red Riot is the perfect chance for you to get a feel for SUU - campus, student life, academics, everything! If you want clarity on where to go to college and truly experience campus life before committing, attending a Red Riot is the place for you. See a Sample Schedule.
Your Red Riot will include:
- Tickets to SUU events (if an event is scheduled)
- Scholarship advising
- T-shirt to remember the event
- Tour of campus
- Dinner
- Information about classes
At each Red Riot you will also automatically be entered for a chance to win a $500 scholarship!
*This scholarship is redeemable upon your first semester at SUU
*This scholarship is unable to be stacked with full-tuition scholarship, and is eligible to be deferred
Review our schedule for more details on the event. We do ask that you reschedule your Red Riot overnight if you are experiencing any type of sickness symptoms. Please also check our packing list of what we suggest you bring.

After registering, you will then pay for your Red Riot. If you did not complete this, link is in confirmation email.

Sign the waiver
Waiver must be filled out and turned in at the beginning of the event. Review and fill out the Red Riot waiver.
Parents at Red Riot
Parents are invited to attend a customized parent information session and campus tour on Friday of the Overnight. No lodging arrangements can be made for parents in University Housing. Discounts for local hotels can be found through Parent Services.
