SUU's bachelor's degree in English Education prepares students to excel as middle or high school educators. Our English Education major offers comprehensive coursework in literature, grammar, and teaching techniques. Students gain practical experience through more than 100 hours of teaching practicums, benefiting from our robust partnerships with local schools. Our program offers six specializations: Literature, Creative Writing, Rhetoric and Writing, Film and Screen Studies, Technical Writing, and AI Literacy and Ethics. Our graduates enjoy high employment rates across Utah. Plus, there are opportunities for teaching license reciprocity in other states.
