Kevin Costner and Utah First Lady Abby Cox to speak at the One Utah Summit at SUU

The One Utah Summit - hosted by Southern Utah University - will serve as the stage for an extraordinary conversation between Utah First Lady Abby Cox and Academy Award-winning actor and filmmaker Kevin Costner on Oct. 7, 2025.

Hosted by First Lady Cox, this reflective dialogue will celebrate the enduring power of story and why Kevin Costner’s passion for storytelling and fascination with the American West has led to a lasting legacy in Western filmmaking. The exchange will also explore the challenges and opportunities storytellers face today. Coster will share his vision for the road ahead, offering perspective and inspiration for the rising generation of storytellers in Utah.
