CEDAR CITY, Utah (April 8, 2026) - The Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games (USG), an outreach department of Southern Utah University (SUU), has launched a giving campaign as part of its 40th anniversary celebration. The “40-for-40” campaign’s purpose is to raise dollars for ongoing expenses related to operations and its community outreach events. Those interested can donate at suu.edu/gift/
USG is celebrating its 40th anniversary during the 2026 program year, with a season-long Celebration Series, presented by Leavitt Group and Auto-Owners Insurance. To be a part of this milestone year, every individual who donates $40 to the cause will receive a commemorative pin.
“Since its founding, the Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games has relied upon the generosity of many individuals who have given both resources and time to ensure a first-of-class competitive experience for all participants,” said Jon Oglesby, Executive Director of the Games. “As we prepare for the next chapter of USG’s story, we are hopeful to steward continued support for our mission.”
The Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games stands out in the world of club sports, offering a premier competitive stage where every athlete’s hard work pays off in a truly high-value experience for them and their supporters. For example, USG annually provides over 10,000 shirts and backpacks to all competitors as part of the experience, while also consciously breaking from club sports trends by not charging spectators for entry into events.
Athletes can register for the 2026 season at https://utahsummergames.org/sports/2024/1/3/sport-registration-table.aspx . Beyond the competition, the entire community is invited to celebrate the start of the season at The Larry H.
