SUU Invites Prospective Students to Experience its Campus Community Firsthand

CEDAR CITY, UT - Southern Utah University's Graduate & Online Programs is launching Campus Connections, a specialized campus visit experience designed specifically for prospective online students to explore their future academic home before enrolling.
The inaugural event kicks off August 14 and invites future learners to pair their academic exploration with Cedar City's vibrant summer culture, including the Utah Shakespeare Festival, athletic events, and nearby national parks.
"Studying online shouldn't mean studying alone. That's why the Campus Connections program is designed for online students to be introduced in-person to the people and services that will support them on their educational journey," said SUU's Associate Vice President of Graduate and Online Enrollment. "We want prospective students to experience the T-Bird spirit firsthand, meet their future mentors, and know that a dedicated support system stands behind them."
Designed for working adult learners, these single-day Campus Connections events give attendees firsthand experience with the SUU community and the real people helping them along the way.
The one-day Campus Connections events run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and include a guided campus tour and a meeting with academic program directors and university leaders. A comprehensive resource fair will provide opportunities to meet with financial aid counselors, advisors, and admissions representatives. Plus there will be prizes including two $500 scholarships.
Registration is required for attendees and their guests. There is no charge to attend Campus Connections. Visit the SUU Campus Connection web page to learn more and register for the event.
