SUU Announces the 2026 Influencer Award Honorees

SUU Letter Sign on CampusAs campus prepares to welcome students back this fall semester, Southern Utah University’s Division of Student Affairs and the Career and Professional Development Center have proudly distributed the 2026 Influencer Awards. This annual tradition recognizes outstanding faculty and staff, highlighting individuals at SUU who have done a remarkable job supporting, inspiring, and guiding students through their academic journeys.

“These T-Birds exemplify the spirit and mission of Southern Utah University, and influence is one of the reasons our students—and our university—thrive,” said Assistant Vice President of Career Success, Dr. Kristy Morgan.

Each year, graduating T-Birds are asked, “Which faculty or staff members had the greatest positive impact on your SUU experience?” This year’s honorees were chosen as those who made a lasting difference in the lives of students.

“Thank you for your unwavering dedication to our students and your commitment to their success,” said Dr. Morgan. “The knowledge you share, the support you provide, and the example you set have helped shape futures, inspire confidence, and create opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom.”

The nominees for the 2026 Influencer Award are listed below. These are committed individuals whose care and service have allowed SUU to be a place where T-Birds can soar.

Thanks are also given to the students who took the time to nominate the faculty and staff who made a difference in their lives, allowing the University to celebrate these incredible professionals.
