Contemporary Animal Services Professional Development and Leadership Programs

Partnership with Best Friends Animal Society

As the academic partner to Best Friends Animal Society, SUU also offers an Institutional Certificate in Animal Services Executive Leadership and up to six academic credits to those who complete the Best Friends Executive Leadership Certification (BFELC) program.

Beyond BFELC, and depending on educational backgrounds and goals, individuals have opportunities to earn additional academic credits that may be applied toward SUU bachelor’s or master’s degree programs.

Anyone interested in a career in animal services may apply to earn an SUU Institutional Certificate in the Principles of Contemporary Animal Services. For more information, click on the red dog below.

Southern Utah University offers several educational pathways to help boost your resume and lift your career in contemporary animal services, including the Master of Interdisciplinary Studies (MIS) program that offers a graduate emphasis in Contemporary Animal Services Leadership (CASL).
