2027 Theme
This year’s theme is: A Hidden Delight. Four speakers will be chosen to share ideas that promote the concept of finding unexpected success in the middle of ordinary life.
Audition Parameters - Submit a written sample of the talk you’d like to give in February. Here’s what we’re looking for:
Written submissions must be 300-400 words in length.
- The topic of your audition must be the topic of your final speech.
- Speakers must be an SUU student, faculty, staff, administrator, or alumni.
- Clearly convey your message.
- Submissions must be posted by Friday October 9 at 11:59 pm.
TED Requirements:
- All scientific data must be authentic and accurate.
- Talks should not include inflammatory political or religious agendas.
- Talks should not include polarizing (us vs. them) language.
- Speakers may not promote their own products, books, or businesses, nor that of their employer.
- Copyright laws are in effect. Any third party material must be made known and written permission must be granted to the speaker.
*Speakers will be required to attend monthly practices and a dress rehearsal.
