The Tutoring Center has nearly 70 tutors who serve 2,000 undergraduate students in over 200 courses each year. Tutors help SUU students deepen their understanding of course content and also provide academic coaching to sharpen your study skills and test-taking strategies. Tutoring can be in-person, online, individual, in pairs, or in a group. Tutors also facilitate Study Squads (study/homework/accountability groups).
Tutors are outstanding undergraduate students who are recommended by SUU faculty. They are passionate about their areas of study and love sharing them with others. They strive to provide a non-judgemental space where students are encouraged to explore new or difficult concepts, freely make mistakes, and grow. We love that "light bulb" moment! Come study with your fellow T-birds!
