Nearly 60 tutors, all recommended by faculty, serve 2,000 undergraduate students in over 200 courses each year. Tutors help SUU students deepen their understanding of course content and also provide guidance to sharpen study skills and test-taking strategies. Tutoring can be in-person, online, individual, in pairs, or in a group. Tutors also facilitate Study Squads (homework/study groups).
Tutors are passionate about their areas of study and love helping others. They strive to provide a welcoming and safe space where students are encouraged to explore new or difficult concepts, freely make mistakes, and grow. We love that "light bulb" moment! Come study with your fellow T-birds!
