  • Distance students needing to take a placement exam in a remote location away from SUU need to first make arrangements with their instructor. Most online exams for distance learners are proctored through Proctorio. If the exam is not through Proctorio and the instructor has granted permission to take the exam virtually through the Testing Center, the student must fill out an online proctor request form and will need to make an appointment. There is an online proctor fee of $15 for each online proctoring appointment.

The SUU Testing Center also serves as a remote proctoring site for other universities.

NOTE: No appointments for these types of exams are necessary. Exams are administered during the normal hours of operation listed above for the Testing Center.

Online Payment for proctored exams of other universities ($20)

(This includes exams sent to us from other Utah universities and colleges such as BYU Independent Study, SLCC, and Weber State as well as exams from out-of-state universities and colleges.)

You MUST provide a hard copy receipt to verify payment at the time of testing to be allowed to take the test or pay with cash when you come to test.
