Testing Services
Mission Statement
SUU Testing Services serves to validate and enhance the learning of SUU students by providing a proctored test-taking environment for its students and community members.
About Us
SUU Testing Services is an Academic Success department housed in the Division of Student Affairs. Testing Services is comprised of the Testing Center and Specialized Testing offices which provide proctoring services for exams to students and the community.
The Testing Center and Specialized Testing offer online proctoring for most exams. There is a non-fundable fee of $15 for online one-on-one proctoring for SUU Students.
The Testing Center administers and proctors:
- Exams for SUU courses
- ETS Major Field Exams
- ALEKS Placement Testing (In person and online proctoring.)
- Proctored exams for other universities
Specialized Testing administers and proctors specialized exams, placement tests and national exams including:
- Accuplacer Next Generation English (SUU Students)
- Accuplacer Remote (for SUU students taking remotely at a distant location)
- English 1010E Test Out Exam (for those who do not score well on Accuplacer)
- Foreign Language Achievement Testing Services (FLATS)
- Other specialized tests such as ACT, CLEP, FAA, GRE Subject, LSAT, MAT, MPRE (LSAC), ParaPro, POST, Praxis-iBT, SAT, TOEFL-iBT
- Western Governors University exams
- Certification exams for other agencies (Pesticide, Whitewater, Real Estate, etc.)
