Entrepreneurship Speaker Series

The Entrepreneurship Speaker Series provides a different entrepreneur each week to share their insights, struggles, challenges and lessons learned. The speakers and assignments will provide students with varying perspectives on entrepreneurship and give them insights to what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

This program offers free tax help to people who generally make $56,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

Dean's Message

On behalf of the Dixie L. Leavitt School of Business faculty and staff, we are excited to welcome you to the 2023-2024 academic year! It is an honor to serve as the Interim Dean of the School of Business and I look forward to working together as we move steadily forward this year!

Whether you are an incoming freshman living in Cedar City or a graduate student taking classes online, I invite you to become fully engaged in your educational experience. We have many activities planned throughout the year, so join a business club or organization, come to employer networking activities and participate in student events. If you are interested in starting your own business, visit the Miller Entrepreneurship Center. Our new Professional Sales Center can help you be successful in any career. Consider a study abroad program. Take full advantage of the many resources available to you, such as tutoring, career services, and our wonderful student success advisors.
