Concurrent Enrollment Admissions

We’re excited that you’re considering getting a head start on your college journey through our concurrent enrollment program. The admissions process can vary slightly depending on where you attend high school and your current grade level. To help you navigate each step with confidence, we've outlined detailed instructions below.

If you attend a public school in Beaver, Garfield, or Iron County, talk to your high school counselor about taking in-person or online courses. After you have applied and been accepted for the program, depending on the types of classes you will be taking, you can view instructions for Face to Face Registration, or Online Registration.

If you attend a public school outside SUU’s service area, you must first check the Online CE Courses List to see if the course you want is available online from your local CE provider. If it is offered online by your local institution, you must take the course at that institution. If the course you want is not offered online by your service area provider, then work with your high school counselor to apply and enroll in the course(s) you need at SUU.

For more instructions about registration, view the SUU Online Concurrent Enrollment Registration page.

If you are not a Utah Public School student, you may still have access to online courses through SUU’s Early College Online program.

If you will be starting high school and do not yet have a high school transcript, start by filling out the Concurrent Enrollment Application, and then submit the Freshman Admission Form in place of a transcript. The completed form may be emailed to concurrentenrollment@suu.edu.

When approved, the student will be provisionally admitted to SUU and allowed to register for up to 6 college credits in the first semester. A transcript from the first semester of high school must be submitted prior to enrollment in subsequent semesters.

Fill out and submit the application form.  Be sure to select Southern Utah University (SUU) as your preferred institution. - It’s free to apply to SUU.

Concurrent Enrollment Application

SUU will receive notice of your application and will request transcripts from the high school listed on your application. You will receive an email notice of your admission status. If admitted, your welcome email will contain instructions on how to activate your mySUU portal and register for classes.

Please note: Your application is considered complete and ready for review only after both the application and transcript have been received. Allow 3-5 days for your application to be processed once all required documentation is submitted.

The entire form must be completed in one browser session. Please watch the instructional video on the first page of the application for more detailed instructions.
