The Water Lab is continuously looking for qualified students who are looking for an internship-like experience. To be able to work as an analyst in the laboratory, a student must have successfully taken Chemistry 1210 and 1220. We estimate that over 150 students have worked in the Water Lab. Many SUU/Water Lab Graduates have gone on to obtain Doctors in Dentistry and Medicine. Many others have used their analytical skills in graduate school and have received Ph.D.s. Others are still working as environmental analysts. In the coming months, look for highlights of successful graduates. If you would like to work in the Water lab, please contact Dr. Weaver or Dr. Redd.
Additionally, The water lab is a great resource for students and faculty looking to do high quality undergraduate research. Currently, we are working with faculty and students from both the Biology and Nutrition. If you are interested in such an experience, you are invited to contact Dr. Weaver or Dr. Redd.
