Access Utah Promise Scholarship

The Access Utah Promise Scholarship is a needs-based scholarship program. This program can help pay for tuition and fees in qualifying circumstances. To qualify for the Access Utah Promise Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have not received an associate degree or higher postsecondary degree.
  • Be a resident of Utah
  • Must demonstrate financial need.
  • Accept all other grants, tuition/fee waivers, and scholarships offered to the applicant.
  • Maintain and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.

A recipient may receive scholarship funds until one of the following occurs.

  • Two years after the initial award.
  • A recipient uses the scholarship for four semesters.
  • A recipient meets the academic qualifications for an associate degree.
  • Or earns a cumulative total of 60 credits.

How to apply

Terms

  • Recipients must submit a FAFSA each year to determine if they meet the income level requirements.
  • If a student is selected for verification, verification must be completed before funds are disbursed onto the student's account.

***This is a last dollar scholarship. It may be reduced and/or cancelled if another scholarship comes in after it is applied to the recipients account.
