  • Graduation Application Deadlines are approaching and can be completed within the mySUU Portal. Below are specific application deadline dates:
    • October 15, for Fall 2020 graduates
    • December 1, for Spring 2021 graduates
    • December 15, for Summer 2021 graduates

University Festivities

8:00 a.m. - Commencement Lineup
Various locations on Upper Campus
8:30 a.m. - Commencement Procession
Traditional procession that begins on Upper Campus. All graduates will walk under the Carter Carillon and are asked to be on the Upper Campus at 8:00 a.m. to line up. 

9:00 a.m. - University Commencement, America First Event Center
The formal ceremony to confer degrees upon SUU's Class of 2021. 

Academic College Convocations

Each graduate is individually recognized, called to walk and accept their diploma in their respective academic college ceremony. 

11 a.m. - Beverley Taylor Sorenson College of Education & Human Development, America First Event Center.
Noon - College of Performing & Visual Arts, Randall L. Jones Theatre.
1 p.m. - Dixie L. Leavitt School of Business, America First Event Center.
2 p.m. - Walter Maxwell Gibson College of Sciences, including associate's of science degrees in GIS, Randall L. Jones Theatre.
3 p.m. -  College of Health Sciences, including associate's of science degrees in equine sciences and livestock farm management, America First Event Center.
4 p.m.
- College of Engineering & Computational Sciences, including associate's of science degrees CAD/CAM, construction technology, and information technology, Randall L. Jones Theatre.
5 p.m.  - College of Humanities & Social Sciences, including associate's of science degree in criminal justice, legal studies, and paralegal studies, America First Event Center.
