Graduate Library Media Endorsement (Non-Utah)

The Sherratt Library offers a Graduate Library Media Endorsement for students in eligible states outside of Utah. The following state's programs accept this online endorsement program:

• Arizona: Library-Media Specialist, PreK–12 Endorsement
• Montana: Library Media (K–12) Endorsement
• Washington: Library Media Endorsement
• Alaska: Library Science / Media Services Endorsement (also referenced as School Librarian)
• Idaho: Teacher Librarian (K–12) Endorsement
• Wyoming: Library Media Endorsement
• Iowa: Teacher Librarian Endorsement
• Indiana: Library/Media Specialist Licensure / Endorsement
• Oregon: Library Media Endorsement (LME)

How do I apply?

Students must complete the Library Media Application and be admitted to the University and register. You can contact the Registrar's office with any registration questions at 435-586-7715.

What are the requirements?

Eighteen credits are required for graduate licensure and must be completed during the five years prior to application for the license.Twelve credits must be taken through SUU. Below is the outlined coursework for the program. Research course descriptions.
