Data Science Educational Objectives

A few years after graduation, data science graduates from SUU will: 

• Apply data science methods and techniques including programming, statistical modeling, machine learning, and domain knowledge to analyze real-world problems using current tools, infrastructure, and industry-standard practices.
• Communicate data-driven insights clearly and effectively to diverse audiences through storytelling, visualization, and presentation skills.
• Collaborate and lead effectively in multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating professionalism, adaptability, and accountability in both independent and team-based environments.
