Admission Requirements
Note: There is a mandatory 2 week On-Campus Summer requirement
- Complete your application.
- Submit official transcripts from your previous school. If you graduated from SUU, transcripts are not needed.
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA in your last 60 semester hours.
- A bachelor’s degree in physical education, exercise science, or sports medicine.
- A bachelor’s degree and certification as a fitness professional (e.g., CSCS, NSCA-CPT, ACSM-CPT).
- A bachelor’s degree with coursework in exercise physiology (e.g., KIN 3070) and biomechanics (e.g., KIN 3060).
Additional Requirements
- Basic computer skills and access to high-speed internet are needed.
Transfer credits
- Up to 12 credits may be transferred if they match the course content in the program.
Special Considerations
- If you don’t meet the requirements, you may still be admitted by explaining why and how you’ll succeed in the program.
Current SUU Undergraduate students interested in obtaining a Master's degree may apply to our Grad Path Program. Eligible students may earn up to 6 hours graduate level credits at undergraduate tuition rates.
