SUU Early Intervention provides early identification and treatment services for children from birth to three years old in Iron, Beaver, Kane, and Garfield Counties. We message families to schedule appointments, answer questions, and provide resources. Our main goal for messaging is to provide support to the families and communities we serve.
SMS Term and Conditions & Privacy Policy
- Families and community members can opt-in by providing their phone number on our contact form. They can go online and click on the “contact us” section or the referral tab. In this section, they can fill out all the information requested including their phone number. When they provide their phone number they agree to the following statement: ‘By checking this box, you agree to receive SMS updates from SUU Early Intervention. Message frequency varies depending on the scenario. Msg & data rates may apply. No mobile information will be shared with third parties. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel. SUU Early Intervention will not transfer consumer data to external organizations without explicit consent, except as required by law, and has implemented strict access controls and data sharing agreements to prevent unauthorized sharing of user data.
- We will collect your name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates. The information will be collected via the website contact form, email, rental agreement, or third-party reservation systems. SUU Early Intervention will not transfer consumer data to external organizations without explicit consent, except as required by law, and has implemented strict access controls and data sharing agreements to prevent unauthorized sharing of user data. We use your data solely for sending updates, promotions, and reminders related to our products or services. We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access. We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion at any time.
- MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited texting or data plan.
- The frequency of texts will vary based on each's families individualized needs. Texts can range on average between 1-7 texts or more. We are happy to answer questions and support families as needed. Messages are recurring, and message frequency varies. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive messages at a frequency that varies depending on the level of support needed each month. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
- You can opt out of the SMS list at anytime by texting, emailing, or replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to EarlyIntervention@suu.edu or 435-701-6777. After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS to confirm you have unsubscribed and we will remove your number from our list within 24 hours.
- You can send HELP for additional assistance, and you will receive a text including our Phone number, email and website. We are here to help you.
