Dear Colleagues,

One of the joys of our academic work is the pursuit of new knowledge. No matter your particular “brand” of research or creative endeavor, the successes we enjoy as a community in scholarship should be shared and celebrated. This is particularly true for our students and their scholarly work – a critical part of their development as learners and scholars.

It’s time for us to come together and share those scholarly successes during our annual Festival of Excellence. This annual festival provides a rich opportunity to gather as a community of learners to share our projects and passions from the last year. With various venues and presentation styles, there is a place for everyone to share their work in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

Please join me as we prepare for this year's Festival of Excellence. Like last year, each college will create its structure and schedule that meet its disciplinary needs, and there will be an all-campus poster session from 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the American First Event Center. An organizer from each college (listed below) has already begun contacting their college colleagues to begin designing the event.
