Grad Path Courses Requirements

  • Students must apply to Grad Path Courses and get Graduate Admission approval before the program advisor can register them.
  • Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and 90 credits earned, or in progress,  to qualify the Grad Path Courses program. GPA and credits will be verified at the beginning of each semester.
    • Students may enroll in combined maximum of 18 graduate and undergraduate credits per semester.
    • A maximum of 6 graduate credits is allowed per semester.
    • Courses taken as part of one graduate program may not be accepted within another graduate program.
    • Students may only earn a maximum of 6 graduate credits (program dependant) via Grad Path.
  • An application will need to be filled out for each program the student is participating in. 
  • All students who meet the requirements are eligible to participate in the Grad Path Courses program.
    • Students must pass each graduate course with a B or better in order to continue in Grad Path Courses.
  • Those who pass Grad Path Courses with a 3.0 or better will automatically be admitted into the associated graduate program
    • Students who do not maintain a 3.0 in Grad Path Courses will be considered under the graduate program’s admission criteria.
  • The Registration Add/Drop Form for undergraduate wanting to add graduate courses will no longer be supported. All graduate registration will be done through the Grad Path Courses application.

All of the coursework for this 18-credit program can be completed online, so you can study around your schedule. The program includes practicum hours which can be completed at a school near you. Courses include learner development, reader engagement, leadership, organization, technology, and information literacy.

The program is offered at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The cost and workload are less for undergraduates. We recommend graduate courses for anyone interested in pursuing a Master's degree in the future.

Credits from the Library Media Endorsement can count toward SUU’s online Master of Education or Master of Interdisciplinary Studies.

Through SUU’s joint Master of Accountancy (MAcc) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) Grad Path program, you can take up to 12 graduate-level credits that count toward your future master’s degree—giving you the chance to get ahead in your graduate studies and experience what graduate school is like before finishing your bachelor’s.

This joint program combines advanced accounting skills with business leadership training. Students learn about financial reporting, auditing, and tax strategy, along with management, marketing, and business strategy. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in accounting firms, corporations, and financial institutions.

Choose from four cutting-edge areas of emphasis and master current, in-practice technology:

Opt for a Graduate Certificate in Audio Engineering that is just 12 credit hours and can be completed in 4 months.

Classes are just 7-weeks long, so you can focus on just 1 or 2 subjects at a time. SUU will order your transcript for graduate programs.
