Large Scale Arenas
Several of the large-scale arenas at Southern Utah University can be reserved for events. These hold a large amount of people and are great for corporate events. Our large-scale venues are home to Division I athletics and world-renowned theatre productions. Review the facilities available for hosting large capacity events.
Thinking big? The America First Credit Union Event Center may be the perfect location for your event. With a capacity of 5300 and two video-boards, concerts, big name entertainers, award ceremonies, and commencement exercises all are within the realm of possibilities inside of the Centrum. If you are looking for a large space but not quite that large, dividers are available to limit event size.
Large outdoor events in southern Utah frequently use the Eccles Coliseum. Stadium seating for 6200, quarter-mile track, extra large HD video-board, green rooms, press boxes, and luxury suites make the Coliseum useful, adaptable and spectacular. Events such as Utah Summer Games, Relay for Life, and Special Olympics use the space annually.
A traditional style theater, which seats up to 900, normally used for performances, convocations, and ceremonies.
The Randall Jones Theatre is a part of the Utah Shakespeare Festival but is available for campus groups and visitors hosting events to use, if available. The theatre seats 769 people and an elegant option for large groups.
