Employee Holiday Schedule

Each year, the President's staff determines the approved holidays of the University. The following named days are usually considered as holidays for employees under "salary contract":

July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026

• Independence Day  - Friday, July 4th
• Pioneer Day - Thursday, July 24th
• Labor Day - Monday, September 1st
• Thanksgiving - Thursday and Friday, November 27th and 28th
• Christmas  - Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, December 24th, 25th, and 26th
• New Years Day - Thursday, January 1st
• Martin Luther King Day - Monday, January 19th
• President's Day - Monday, February 16th
• Memorial Day - Monday, May 25th
• Juneteenth - Monday, June 15th

July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027

• Independence Day  - Friday, July 3rd

• Thanksgiving - Thursday and Friday, November 26th and 27th
