Employee Wellness Program
SUU’s Employee Wellness Program is a semester-long series of challenges designed to improve the overall health of SUU faculty and staff. Participate in activities to earn points, build healthy habits, and win prizes!
Fall 2025
This semester we are inviting SUU employees to focus on Nutrition & Social wellness! Join us in a series of weekly, monthly, and semester challenges to improve your wellness.

After signing up, you will receive access to the self-tracker spreadsheet. Simply follow along and log your challenge progress.
Wellness Challenge Details
By completing Wellness Program challenges and tracking your progress you can earn points. At the end-of-semester wrap-up ceremony, participants cash in their points and win prizes! Past prizes have included many fun things such as hammocks, sports equipment, kitchen appliances, Bluetooth earbuds, SUU merch, and more. There is a prize for everyone!
- The last day to enter points for the spring semester is November 29, 2025.
- The closing prize ceremony for the spring semester will be on December 3, 2025 at 2 pm. Please try to attend in person to make the prize giveaway easier, but you can attend by Zoom if you need to. The link to the event will be sent out at a later date.
Weekly challenges must be done at least once a week to earn the associated points.
Improve your Diet
Find a way that you could improve your diet and stick to it for the week. You can do the same thing every week or try something different every week.Examples:
- Eat a variety of foods, Limit foods that are low in vitamins and minerals, Pick food with little or no added sugar, Replace saturated fats in your diet with unsaturated fats, Get more fiber, Choose more complex carbs, Watch out for foods high in salt.
Hydration
Try to drink at least 64 oz of water a day.Examples:
- Keep and jug of water at your desk, drink a glass of water at bed time and at night before bed.
Across Campus
30 day initiatives must be completed at least once in the 30 day period to earn the associated points.
