Theatre

The Theatre program at SUU strives to nurture and challenge the creative process of arts and culture. Students within theatre create, perform, design, and manage within a variety of venues and stretch themselves creatively and scholastically by incorporating their comprehensive training and experience in all aspects of the arts. 

Our students have the opportunity to be mentored by professionals in main stage theatre productions and pursue internships with the Tony award-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival. Students can create and perform their own work through our student production company, Second Studio, or departmentally sponsored grant productions. Student work has been honored at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and the United States Institute for Theatre Technology.
